Let’s go, Eagles!
The Salesian High School Athletic Department and Extracurricular Activities foster an environment that encourages academic excellence, good citizenship, personal growth, and character while developing student-athletes who are positive role models and productive members of society.
Participation is important to the goals of Salesian High School and is a significant supplement to the academic curriculum. The dedication and commitment of participants often provide a challenge more immediate than is usually found in the classroom. In accordance with the school’s Salesian mission, the athletic program allows students to learn the importance of daily hard work and responsibility to a group. We are committed to broad participation in extracurricular activities.
Excellence in the fields of academics, athletics and extracurricular activities should be viewed as mutually beneficial. Such high standards enrich school spirit and increase visibility of the school’s academic progress. Thus mutually supportive programs of excellence in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities benefit the students, faculty, administrators, and alumni of Salesian High School.
Everyone associated with Salesian High School activities is responsible for their influence on the behavior of others, extending all positive aspects of reason, religion and kindness. Each coach, moderator, athlete and parent is a role model and follows the ideals of St. John Bosco.
It’s great to be a Salesian Eagle!
