We realize there are many educational options for your son(s), so we thank you for your interest in applying to Salesian High School. Below you will find information for incoming freshmen (8th graders) and students who are interested in transferring to Salesian.
8th Grade Applicants
An 8th grade applicant should register for and take the TACHS exam through the Archdiocese of New York. The exam is usually administered on the first Friday of November. Though recommended , it is not necessary that you take a TACHS EXAM in order to apply for admission to Salesian High School. If you are interested click here to apply
Salesian High School will receive the scores, make admissions decisions and send the results to families in mid-January.
Salesian High School accepts a certain number of transfer students each year. A high school student who is interested in Salesian High School must do the following:
- Make an appointment for an interview with Mr. Steve Sallustio, Director of Admissions, at (914) 632-0365 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Have a transcript from your current high school.
