COVID-19 RESPONSE & UPDATES

The health and safety of our Salesian High School community is of utmost importance. In an effort to ensure our Salesian family is up-to-date on how we are addressing this issue, we have created a dedicated webpage to share information and resources. We will do our best to keep everyone up-to-date as the COVID-19 continues to unfold. We will update our website and social media as updates are made.

WE ARE SALESIAN

We’re all facing a challenge, unlike anything in our lifetime. We have members of our Salesian family who urgently need support. With unemployment continuing to grow, many families will be unable to cover tuition. We are asking our community to help our students in need during these unprecedented times. Learn more about our #WeAreSalesian urgent appeal.

Salesian

When a group of Salesians of St. John Bosco laid the cornerstone to their dream of a school on 17 acres overlooking Long Island Sound in New Rochelle, New York in 1920, Salesian High School was born. Salesian, to this day, embodies the rich educational tradition of St. John Bosco — a tradition based on reason, religion, kindness and the presence of educators among students. Our school is firmly rooted in the charism that “education is a matter of the heart” and strives to create a family spirit in a preventive system of education.

Whether in the classroom, gym or at various activities and events, Salesian’s team helps students develop their potential through personal and career counseling and quality academic instruction. Our students are encouraged to achieve academic excellence and to become productive and responsible Christian gentlemen.

Salesian is…

a home that welcomes;
a school that prepares for life;
a parish where Christian values shape character;
a family where lasting friendships are formed;
a life-changing institution
for students and their families.
