Salesian
When a group of Salesians of St. John Bosco laid the cornerstone to their dream of a school on 17 acres overlooking Long Island Sound in New Rochelle, New York in 1920, Salesian High School was born. Salesian, to this day, embodies the rich educational tradition of St. John Bosco — a tradition based on reason, religion, kindness and the presence of educators among students. Our school is firmly rooted in the charism that “education is a matter of the heart” and strives to create a family spirit in a preventive system of education.
Whether in the classroom, gym or at various activities and events, Salesian’s team helps students develop their potential through personal and career counseling and quality academic instruction. Our students are encouraged to achieve academic excellence and to become productive and responsible Christian gentlemen.
