#1: The Student Resource Center Subject Guide - #2: SRC Topic Trees: World History - #3: SRC Topic Trees: Cultures


Method #1: Using the Student Resource Center's Subject Guide Search.
 


On the Student Resource Center home page, click on the Subject Guide link (circled above)
on the Search Types ribbon at the top of the screen.
Next type in your search terms, like ancient Rome, shown above.
 


On the next screen, choose the link that includes the Subdivisions and Related subjects links,
for example, Rome (Ancient State)  (circled above)
.
 


The next screen is your Results Screen.
Click on the tabs to choose Reference Book articles, Magazine articles, Academic Journal articles, articles from Newspapers,
Creative Works (not available here), Primary Source articles (not available here), and Multimedia files,
like drawings, photographs, diagrams, art work, animations, music files, and video files.
 

You can also narrow your search by clicking on the Subdivisions link (circled above).
 

The next screen will provide you with articles on more specific topics,
like 11 articles on Buildings in ancient Rome.  Click on the link to see these articles.
 

If this search did not give you the results you wanted, you can click on the Related subjects link (circled above).
 

The next screen will provide you with articles on related topics,
like the Germanic Invasions of Rome.  Click on the link for more information.

Method #2: Using the Student Resource Center's Topic Tree for World History.
 

On the Student Resource Center home page, click on the Topic Trees link (circled above)
on the Search Types ribbon at the top of the screen.
 

Click on the World History button (circled above).
 


Choose and click on any link, for example, Italian Renaissance (circled above).
 


The next screen is your Results Screen.
Click on the tabs to choose Reference Book articles, Magazine articles, Academic Journal articles, articles from Newspapers,
Creative Works (not available here), Primary Source articles (not available here), and Multimedia files,
like drawings, photographs, diagrams, art work, animations, music files, and video files.

Method #2: Using the Student Resource Center's Topic Tree for Cultures.
 


On the Student Resource Center home page, click on the Topic Trees link (circled above)
on the Search Types ribbon at the top of the screen.
 


Click on the Cultures button (circled above).
 


Choose and click on any link, for example, Islamic culture (circled above).
 


The next screen is your Results Screen.
Click on the tabs to choose Reference Book articles, Magazine articles, Academic Journal articles, articles from Newspapers,
Creative Works (not available here), Primary Source articles (not available here), and Multimedia files,
like drawings, photographs, diagrams, art work, animations, music files, and video files.
