| CONTENT: Research Paper/Final Project OBJECTIVE: Students will be able: (1) To produce an 8-10 page typed MLA
style research paper.
(2) To use the library and computer technology effectively. (3) To formulate a thesis statement and to write an organized and coherent paper. (4) To include a Reflection Essay, 2-3 typed pages in length. (5) To give an oral presentation using art, film, music, etc. ACTIVITIES... (1) February 6: Submit a
broad/general topic and begin the project. (Library/Comp.)

(2) February 14: Submit a thesis statement, a working bibliography and the contents of the oral presentation. (25 points) (3) March 1: Bring all notes and work cited page to class. Discuss Oral Presentation. (15-20 min.) (50 points) (4) April 1: Bring first draft. (25 points) DRAW NUMBERS! (5) April 14: Final papers due and begin presentations. (6) April 14-16-18-22-23-28: Presentations...DO NOT BE ABSENT! IMPORTANT!

will be accepted and will result in a zero!
